Particularly within triathlon it’s a well known statement that nutrition is the 4th discipline, but it goes further than that and for me it’s what separates the good from the great. Nutrition doesn’t just support the perfect race but in everyday life it supports great health and in turn forms consistency which is a key determinant in endurance sport success.
At Temper Endurance health is never sacrificed for anything, including performance. Without great health, great performances and results will never be achieved. This can only be accomplished through close attention to excellent nutrition, everyday hygiene and consistent sleeping patterns.

At Temper Endurance, as coach and athlete we will find what is missing and preventing you from achieving your goals. We’ll agree an action plan between us and create the most optimised way forward to help you achieve your goals. Once we’ve laid down the best way forward, a contact and action plan will then be formed which may include weekly, fortnightly or monthly phone/video calls, face to face meetings or whatever works for you and your budget.
Your training plan will be holistic, realistic and flexible, a plan that’s unique to you and treats you as an individual. One that works ‘with’ you, your commitments, your lifestyle, your job and your family. Being a family man myself I fully appreciate the support required from those around you to aid your success.

It’s also worth noting that whilst not being a qualified nutritionist, guidance can be given on becoming a more metabolically flexible athlete through your diet and nutritional regime. Nutrition as mentioned above forms a very important piece of the performance puzzle and must therefore always be considered and never be ignored whatever your nutritional needs and performance goals.
